Turner, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Before we talk about this cute boy’s birthday, I would love to touch on his mom - Vicky. What a woman! She literally devoted 7 years investing in me and my friends from middle school to high school. Not only was she my junior high and high school leader at Eastside, she has been a long time friend who has spoke so much life and wisdom in my life over the years. When she told my friends and I that she was pregnant (it was at Dell Taco…obviously), we all screamed with excitement. Vicky, a friend that has created a space for me to be me, would be a mom so so so soon! Vicky becoming a mom has been so fun to watch. Even if the 91 freeway and life transitions keep us from seeing each other often, I sure did treasure the time we had together last week capturing such adorable moments of Turner. Turner is full of personality. Just look at that smile! Since he knows how to be sassy too, there were moments where I had to put a baseball in my mouth and frosting all over my hands, to make him laugh. So worth it! I know 100% that the year Turner has experienced has been full of care and love. Blown away by how Vicky has positively impacted my walk with Jesus, and now gets to for sweet baby Turner.

(also, Vicky loves the Angels. James, her husband, loves the Dodgers. Pay attention to Turner’s outfits. How does this marriage work? Lots of Jesus. LOL)
